Some states rolling back worker heat protections

A massive heat dome is settling over much of the eastern United States, reviving concerns about how we protect workers from extreme temperatures. NPR reports that while many states have laws in place to shield workers during dangerous heat, some states—including Florida—are actually rolling those protections back. It's a concerning shift as the country faces more intense and frequent heat waves.
