Ukraine proves it can hit Russia almost anywhere

world

According to Axios, Ukraine is conducting long-range strikes deep into Russian territory with unprecedented reach and precision. Recent weeks have brought attacks on oil refineries, weapons factories, and military convoys using domestically-produced drones and modified Flamingo missiles—one struck the Titan-Barrikady plant where Russia makes artillery systems. These strikes have created fuel shortages, and a recent refinery hit sent Moscow residents scrambling for cover. Russia has responded by relocating air defenses to protect Moscow and the presidential residence, leaving other targets exposed. Meanwhile, Ukrainian cities face continued bombardment—overnight Russian strikes on Kyiv killed at least twenty-one people. A Center for Strategic and International Studies report estimates Russia has suffered one point four million battlefield casualties since the invasion began. President Zelensky announced a forty-day operation aimed at forcing Russia to negotiate, though diplomatic progress has stalled so far.
