According to the Guardian, Hollie Ridley is stepping down as Labour's general secretary. Ridley, who ran the party's field operations during Labour's twenty twenty-four election victory, announced the resignation to party staff. She'll leave the post this autumn, following the party's annual conference in September. Ridley has served in the role for two years and is considered an ally of Labour leader Keir Starmer.
