Chinese satellite manufacturer Hongqing raises $191 million

Hongqing Technology, a satellite manufacturer backed by Chinese rocket company Landspace, has raised one hundred ninety-one million dollars in one of the largest funding rounds for a Chinese commercial satellite maker. The financing marks growing investment in China's private space sector as companies compete to build and launch satellites globally. According to SpaceNews, the funding will support Hongqing's expansion in the competitive commercial space market.
