Australia's government has rejected all UN Human Rights Council recommendations aimed at protecting LGBTQIA+ rights, according to ABC News. This marks the lowest acceptance rate of such recommendations in two decades. While the government accepted some other measures put forward during the UN review process, none were designed to advance protections for the LGBTQIA+ community.
