Large crowds gather in Tehran on first day of Ayatollah Khamenei's funeral

According to BBC World, large crowds gathered in Tehran today as mourners observed the first day of funeral rites for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader. His body will remain in state at Tehran's Grand Mosalla through Monday before being transported for observances across Iran and Iraq.
