Defendants in plot to assassinate RT editor-in-chief Simonyan sentenced to up to 20 years in prison

A Moscow military court has sentenced twelve members of the far-right group 'National Socialism/White Power' to between six and twenty years in prison. According to Meduza, two defendants were convicted specifically for conspiring to assassinate Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Russian state media outlet RT.
