According to NPR, severe storms forced evacuations at Washington's National Mall yesterday, disrupting Fourth of July festivities. Attendees celebrating America's two hundred fiftieth anniversary were ordered to seek shelter as dangerous weather rolled into the region, just hours before fireworks and a presidential address were scheduled to take place.
