Pi square is nearly 10

Here's a mathematical coincidence: pi squared is nearly ten. The actual value is about nine point eight seven — close enough that it's become a favorite among mathematicians for the sheer peculiarity of it. It has no practical application, but it's one of those lovely numerical accidents that the universe seems to enjoy.
