EasyJet suggests it will agree to £5.5bn takeover by US investment firm

According to The Guardian, EasyJet has agreed in principle to a five point five billion pound takeover by US investment firm Castlelake. The deal will take Britain's biggest low-cost carrier private, ending weeks of negotiations that included several rejected offers. The companies have requested a deadline extension to finalize the agreement.
