Sky to Buy ITV’s Media Arm for Up to $2.1 Billion: ‘This Is a Defining Moment for British Media’

According to Variety, Sky has agreed to acquire ITV's Media and Entertainment arm for up to one point six billion British pounds, roughly two point one four billion dollars. The deal closes in the second half of twenty twenty-seven and will establish ITV Studios as a standalone global content company. Shareholders receive approximately one point two seven billion dollars.
