Weather tracker: Europe braces for another heat surge as tropical nights return

Western Europe is bracing for another intense heat surge. According to The Guardian, Spain, Portugal, and France are already sweltering, with southern Britain expected to join them by Monday. Temperatures are forecast to climb ten to fifteen degrees above normal, reaching around forty degrees Celsius—one hundred four degrees Fahrenheit—in the hottest parts of France and Spain, while the UK expects low to mid-thirties Celsius. Tropical nights are returning to the region.
