According to France 24, more than ten days after twin earthquakes struck Venezuela, the death toll remains uncertain, with an official count of at least three thousand three hundred forty-two people killed. In the country's hardest-hit region along the northern coast, survivors and volunteers who have traveled from across Venezuela are taking matters into their own hands, treating the injured, searching for the missing, and helping people find shelter. France 24's Pascale Mariani and Maxime Pluvinet spoke with residents about the recovery effort.
