‘The Black Demon: Atlantis’: The Making of a Shark Thriller at 8,600 Feet Above Sea Level in Colombia

According to Variety, the shark thriller 'The Black Demon' is getting a sequel titled 'The Black Demon: Atlantis,' and it's being filmed in the Colombian mountains at eight thousand six hundred feet above sea level. Producers Mucho Mas Media chose Colombia as the production location because of their successful track record there—they've already shot three films in the country with local production partner Jaguar Bite, including the golf drama 'The Long Game.'
