Xbox to Lay Off Up to 3,200 Staffers in ‘Most Significant Restructure’ in Company’s History

According to Variety, Microsoft's Xbox is set to lay off up to thirty-two hundred employees — sixteen hundred on Monday and as many as another sixteen hundred over the coming year. New chief executive Asha Sharma is calling it the most significant restructure in the company's history. Xbox is also selling off four of its studios: Ninja Theory, Undead Labs, Compulsion Games, and Double Fine Productions, which together employ roughly three hundred fifty people.
