By Year-End, Anthropic Will Out-Earn Every Public Software Company Except Microsoft

According to SaaStr, Anthropic's growth is starting to dwarf the rest of the software industry. The company exited twenty twenty-five at roughly nine billion dollars in run-rate revenue. By February of twenty twenty-six that had climbed to fourteen billion dollars, then nineteen billion in March, and thirty billion dollars by April. SaaStr's Jason Lemkin argues that if the pace holds, by year-end Anthropic will out-earn every publicly traded software company except Microsoft — a striking marker of how quickly a private AI lab has scaled past established giants.
