Xbox to Cut Up to 3,200 Staffers in ‘Most Significant Restructure’ in Company’s History

Microsoft's Xbox division is preparing to cut as many as three thousand two hundred jobs over the next year, in what its new CEO, Asha Sharma, describes as the most significant restructure in the company's history. According to Variety, the move includes four studios — Ninja Theory, Undead Labs, Compulsion Games and Double Fine Productions — which together employ roughly three hundred fifty people. The announcement came on Monday, marking one of the deepest workforce reductions the gaming unit has undertaken.
