According to France 24, the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has now killed more than five hundred people, according to figures the UN health agency released Monday. The epicenter is Ituri province, where healthcare workers on Sunday issued a twenty-four-hour ultimatum, threatening to strike unless the government improves their working conditions and pays the benefits they were promised.
