New funding opportunity on digital minds from Longview

Longview Philanthropy has announced new funding for research on artificial intelligence consciousness and moral status, according to LessWrong. They're offering project grants, research fellowships, and career development fellowships with a deadline of Friday, July tenth. The foundation is particularly interested in work on how AI systems might experience things as good or bad, how large language models generate accurate self-reports, and how society should legally respond if these systems have moral standing.
