Cuba has been plunged into darkness again. According to The Guardian, the island suffered its third nationwide blackout since the start of the year, with the state electricity company confirming the outage on Monday. Cuba was already struggling to keep the lights on, and that strain deepened after the United States imposed an oil blockade in January, further depleting the dwindling fuel supply its power plants depend on.
