Details scarce as Mitch McConnell ‘continues recovery’ in hospital

According to The Guardian World, there's still little clarity on the health of Senator Mitch McConnell. The Kentucky Republican and former Senate leader was admitted to the hospital on June fourteenth, and his office has said only that he's receiving excellent care and continues to recover. Weeks into that stay, staff have declined to detail his condition, or to say whether he'll be back at the Capitol when the Senate returns next week. The most recent statement, issued Thursday, said he continues to improve and appreciates the outpouring of support.
