The fight over trans girls’ sports participation moves to the November ballot

According to The 19th, the fight over whether transgender girls can play on girls' sports teams is heading to the ballot box. Legislatures in left-leaning states have repeatedly rejected bills to bar trans student-athletes from competing in line with their gender identity. But this November, the question goes directly to voters in two blue states, Colorado and Washington, and one swing state, Arizona. The groups behind the measures are betting they'll have more success at the ballot box than they've had in statehouses.
