Bombs explode near Damascus hotel housing Macron on Syria visit

According to The Guardian, explosions struck near a hotel in Damascus where the French president, Emmanuel Macron, was staying during a visit to Syria. Syrian authorities said two improvised explosive devices detonated close to the Four Seasons hotel, wounding at least eighteen people.
