Marine Le Pen: Presidential bid in doubt as court upholds fraud conviction
politics
According to France 24, a Paris appeals court has upheld Marine Le Pen's fraud conviction, dealing a blow to the far-right leader's presidential ambitions. The ruling leaves Le Pen technically eligible to run in France's twenty twenty-seven presidential election, but only while wearing the electronic bracelet, a condition she has flatly rejected.
