Animation is taking a bigger slice of California's film subsidy pie. According to Variety, the state announced Tuesday that seventy-one million dollars would go to four animated features, including the film 'Donkey.' The move is part of California's broader expansion of its film incentive program, which increased to seven hundred fifty million dollars a year and now includes animation alongside live-action productions.
