Geena Davis to Play Serial Killer Dorothea Puente in True Crime Drama Developing at HBO

According to Variety, HBO is developing a true crime drama called "Dorothea," centered on the 1980s serial killer Dorothea Puente. Geena Davis has been cast in the title role and will also executive produce, alongside showrunner Joshua Michael Stern. Michael Rosenbaum and Jeff Frost round out the executive producing team, with Rosenbaum having pitched the project to Frost's Bristol Circle.
