According to France 24, a Paris appeals court on Tuesday found far-right leader Marine Le Pen guilty of embezzlement and ordered her to wear an electronic ankle monitor — even if she runs for the presidency. Under French rules, electronic home detention confines a person to their home or another designated location, allowing them to leave only during hours the judge permits.
