Strait of Hormuz threat level raised to 'severe' after Iran attacks tankers using U.S. Navy route

According to CNBC US Top News, the threat level in the Strait of Hormuz has been raised to "severe" after Iran attacked tankers along a route used by the U.S. Navy, with Tehran warning that it will target any ship that does not use a northern passage it has approved.
