Ken Paxton vowed to crack down on “illegal voting.” He may have violated Texas election law.
politics
According to The Texas Tribune, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton may have run afoul of the very election law he's vowed to enforce. The Tribune, reporting jointly with ProPublica, found that Paxton appears to have used an address where he did not live while voting in six elections over the past two years. That's notable given his own public warning to voters that it is illegal to misrepresent your residence on election records. Paxton has built much of his tenure around cracking down on what he calls illegal voting.
