According to Boing Boing, a new Chrome extension called Knockoff filters Amazon's search results to remove low-quality generic brands. Creator Josh Pigford describes the tool as showing 'brands with a reputation to lose' instead of the typical alphabet-soup factory names like HORUSDY or PHRXXI. It's a small browser fix for a major shopping frustration.
