Utah revokes license of boarding school where Paris Hilton says she was abused as teen

According to The Guardian, the state of Utah has revoked the license of the Provo Canyon school, a Springville boarding facility where the socialite Paris Hilton has said she was abused as a teenager. Regulators said the school failed to provide applicable health and safety services for its clients and cited multiple noncompliance issues. The revocation took effect on Monday. In a statement, Hilton said the school had failed the children in its care, an institution that has faced abuse allegations for decades. The school has fifteen days to request a hearing before Utah's health and human services department.
