NASA Transfers ‘Hundred Acre Wood’ to Patuxent Research Refuge

According to NASA News, the space agency has transferred about one hundred five acres of wooded land from its Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland to the adjoining Patuxent Research Refuge, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The property, formerly known as Area four hundred, is now part of the region's largest unfragmented forest block.
