According to Meduza, a Russian activist facing criminal charges for allegedly discrediting the military has been deported from Turkey back to Russia, where she now faces trial over anti-war speech. Ariadna Litvinova had traveled to Turkey in September twenty twenty-five to stay with her father and escape prosecution at home. But after her visa-free stay expired and she was unable to secure a residence permit, she was sent back. Her father, Valery Kryzhanovskiy, who lives in Turkey, described the deportation to the BBC's Russian service.
