According to The Guardian, pressure is building on Graham Platner to withdraw from Maine's Senate race after a new allegation surfaced. A woman has accused Platner of removing a condom without her consent. Under state rules, Democrats could put a replacement on the ballot if he ends his campaign by July thirteenth. Separately, The Guardian reports that Donald Trump described a very good talk with Vladimir Putin as he arrived in Turkey for the NATO summit, and said he had also spoken with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The calls came amid a wave of recent Russian strikes across Ukraine that have killed at least twenty-one people.
