According to Meduza, riot police in central Moscow carried out a sweep near Kitay-gorod late on the evening of July third, detaining dozens of teenagers who were out on the streets, some of them minors. Many of those affected described beatings and humiliation, and detainees said officers used stun guns on them. Several dozen people were taken to a police station and held for several hours, where police recorded their personal information and photographed them, but filed no formal reports.
