Trump says Iran ceasefire "over" and talks a "waste of time"

According to Axios, President Trump said Wednesday that he considers the ceasefire with Iran to be over, and that while negotiations could continue, he regards them as a waste of time. Speaking at the NATO summit in Turkey, Trump said, quote, to me, I think it's over, adding that he no longer wants to deal with Iran. The comments come roughly three weeks after the two countries signed a peace deal, a deal that Axios reports has now unraveled as both sides launch fresh attacks and any sense of calm in the region evaporates. The price of oil climbed more than five percent in morning trading following his remarks. Axios notes this is a developing story.
