According to ScienceDaily, an experimental once-daily weight-loss pill called orforglipron outperformed the leading oral semaglutide in a major clinical trial, delivering greater weight loss and better blood sugar improvements. Because it's a tablet that doesn't need refrigeration or careful timing with meals, researchers say it could be a more convenient alternative to injectables like Ozempic and Wegovy. It's also cheaper to manufacture, which could widen access worldwide.
