Nato summit: Trump says US could let Ukraine make Patriot missiles after meeting with Zelenskyy – Europe live

According to The Guardian, President Trump says the United States could allow Ukraine to manufacture its own Patriot missiles, following a meeting with President Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Ankara. Trump claimed a lot of progress has been made toward ending the war, though he offered no specifics. The Guardian reports he also lavished praise on Turkey's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Turkish military strength, and, seemingly out of nowhere, praised China as well. Separately, Trump renewed his call for the United States to take over Greenland as he arrived at the summit.
