According to NPR News, former Maine state senator Troy Jackson has said it would be 'self-serving' for Graham Platner to stay in the U.S. Senate race, after Jackson filed to replace him on the Maine ballot in the wake of a sexual assault accusation against Platner by his girlfriend.
