Country Music Association Names Brittany Schaffer as New CEO to Succeed Sarah Trahern

According to Variety, the Country Music Association has named Brittany Schaffer as its next CEO, effective January first, twenty twenty-seven. Schaffer, currently a dean at Belmont University, previously led Spotify's country music operations—giving her direct experience in how listeners discover and consume country music. She succeeds Sarah Trahern, who has guided the organization for thirteen years.
