Qatar LNG factory explosion injures 54, leaves 18 missing, gov’t says

An explosion at an LNG facility in Qatar's Ras Laffan Industrial City has left fifty-four people injured and eighteen missing, according to Qatar's Ministry of Interior. The blast was caused by a technical malfunction at the plant, which is a major contributor to global liquefied natural gas exports. Al Jazeera English reports.
