According to Boing Boing, a Cuban cow named Ubre Blanca—'White Udder' in Spanish—shattered dairy records. On a single day in nineteen eighty-two, she produced one hundred nine point five liters of milk, more than four times what a typical cow yields. Over a full lactation period, she totaled twenty-four thousand two hundred sixty-eight point nine liters, earning recognition from Guinness World Records. Cuba honored her with a state obituary and a marble statue.
