According to Meduza, one of the world's great oil producers is struggling to keep fuel in its own pumps. Ukraine's drone campaign against Russian refineries has left most of Russia's regions — along with the annexed parts of Ukraine — short on gasoline and diesel. Some stations have run dry entirely; at others, lines stretch for miles, with drivers reportedly waiting hours, and in some cases dozens of hours, to fill up. Authorities have responded with restrictions, barring people from filling canisters and capping how much any single customer can buy.
