The Democratic nominee for Maine's U.S. Senate seat, Graham Platner, has ended his campaign following a sexual assault allegation. According to The Guardian, Platner released an eleven-minute video statement in which he called the allegations all false, and claimed they had been made to drive him from the race. With his exit, Maine Democrats will now choose a new nominee to contest the seat.
