According to The Texas Tribune, Austin Democrat James Talarico's campaign says he raised more than thirty million dollars in the second quarter of his U.S. Senate run — more than triple the sum reported by Ken Paxton. The campaign calls it a record for a Senate candidate in the second quarter of an election year, nearly three times what Beto O'Rourke pulled in over the same stretch of twenty eighteen.
