‘They said: wear angelic white’: British women who accused US airman of rape tell of American military trial

According to The Guardian, two British women who say they were raped by an American airman, Tyrion Davis, in Suffolk describe being made to testify at a US military court martial held on an American base. One of the women, identified as Rebecca, recalls calling emergency services in tears after fleeing his home, then being taken to a sexual assault referral centre where a nurse measured and photographed her injuries, including bruises and bite marks. The report says the women were even advised on how to present themselves for the American trial, told to wear, in their words, angelic white.
