Bonnie Tyler, 80s pop legend known for Total Eclipse of the Heart and more, dies aged 75

According to The Guardian, the Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler has died at the age of seventy-five. Her family and team announced on Facebook that she passed away unexpectedly overnight in a hospital in Portugal, as a result of an illness she was being treated for. Tyler was best known for her husky, commanding voice on nineteen eighties classics such as Total Eclipse of the Heart and the Footloose soundtrack hit Holding Out for a Hero. She was also a Eurovision entrant for the United Kingdom.
