According to France 24, Iran is set to bury its slain ruler, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Thursday at the country's holiest shrine in Mashhad. The burial caps a week of mass funeral processions, rallies, and mourning ceremonies, which have unfolded alongside a renewed flare-up in conflict with the United States. France 24 notes that Khamenei's son and named successor, Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, has yet to make any public appearances.
