According to France 24, it has been nearly ten years since one of the darkest days in the history of Nice. On the fourteenth of July, twenty sixteen, as crowds gathered on the Promenade des Anglais to watch the Bastille Day fireworks, a truck plowed into the crowd. The attack, claimed by the Islamic State group, killed eighty-six people and injured hundreds more. A decade on, France 24's teams have returned to the scene to meet survivors and hear how they carry the grief that followed.
