According to CalMatters, state senator Roger Niello proposed giving California businesses more time to fix accessibility violations before facing lawsuits. The bill won overwhelming Senate support. But it died without an Assembly hearing after Assembly judiciary chair Ash Kalra rejected it in favor of a competing approach.
